[ad_1]

Do you remember what it was? Was it to get fit? Lose weight? Eat more healthily or diet?

All of these resolutions are found in Time’s Top 10 most commonly broken new years resolutions, and the reason is that they are there, is that they are hard to keep on your own. So is skin care. Sydney skin specialists You By Sia provide three skin care solutions below that you can actually keep.

To commit to change, refine or improve your body and self image, you need support from experienced practitioners. And like those all-to-commonly-broken resolutions above, your skin care resolutions need an initial commitment from you for solutions that are easy to integrate into your everyday life.

1. Laser Hair Removal for smooth, silky skin

Say hello to silky smooth skin with a manageable treatment plan at a clinic close to you.

How does laser hair removal work?

Laser uses a concentrated beam of light to target and damage the hair follicle, leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. After a few treatment sessions the follicles become weaker, which reduces hair growth and eliminates painful ingrown hairs, providing great results on all areas of the body.

Which areas can be treated?

We can treat all areas of the face and body, except the eyelids!

What happens during treatment?

First you will book into a pre-treatment consultation with a You By Sia skin specialist to see if your hair is suitable for treatment. Lighter hair types cannot be seen by the treatment procedure.

On the Face

Put your best face forward for a hair-free future. Painful waxing, temporary threading and time-consuming shaving will be happily forgotten routines of the past. Achieve a silky, smooth face that beams of confidence with You by Sia laser hair reduction.

Is laser safe for use on the face?

Yes. Our world-class laser technology is designed for use on even the most sensitive areas of the body. We use a Zimmer cooling device to minimise any discomfort during treatment.

On the Body

Want to feel confident (and not self-conscious) about your arms and legs? There are many who do, but if you are embarrassed about showing off your “guns” (arms) and “pins” (legs), then do something about it.

This investment into a more confident you is a medium- to long-term solution that works on most (except those with lighter hair, but make sure that you have a pre-treatment consultation to determine whether your hair and skin are suitable for laser hair removal before booking).

Who laser hair removal is good for

Men

Is your partner is always complaining about ingrown hairs? Laser Hair removal addresses the blockage of hair follicles that is caused by build-up of excess sebum or oil production in the top layers of a mans’ skin, by removing the hair at the root. This means that it doesn’t get trapped under the top layer of the skin, so no ingrown hairs!

Women

Sick of waxing your legs? Welcome to silky smooth skin and knowing that you can wear as many bikinis as you wish without experiencing any hair management moments before, during or after your beach visits.

Laser hair removal, funnily enough, is one method of smoothing the skin surface out via the removal of hair.

What is the cost of laser hair removal on the body and how often should I go?

The overall cost of treatment depends on many factors including the amount of sessions required and the area that is being targeted. This can vary from person to person, although results can usually be achieved within 8-10 sessions.

Book Now to arrange a complimentary consultation with one of our friendly, trained technicians. This will allow us to establish your skin type, hair coarseness and hair colour and recommend an ideal treatment plan.

2. Pigmentation Removal to even out skin tone

If you had assumed that nothing can be done about pigmentation or, you have been using treatments or products that are not working, then time to revise your resolution with some expert help! Pigmentation can occur via pregnancy, overexposure to the sun, through hormonal imbalances or after skin trauma. It oftens looks like age spots, sun spots or skin discolouration.

Beam with the Confidence of Bright, Even-Toned Skin

Don’t let freckles, age spots or melasma hold you back from looking and feeling your most youthful. If you’ve spent too much time soaking up the sun and are now regretting the discoloured, uneven complexion that stares back at you, You by Sia can help.

Who is pigmentation removal good for?

Anyone who is self-conscious about a skin condition or discolouration. Pigmentation removal can be performed on the face and body and involves in-clinic and at home treatment solutions. Certain skin types may not be suitable candidates for laser pigmentation removal but can get some relief from specialised serums.

What happens during treatment?

You By Sia uses a combination of laser technology and active cosmeceuticals to address visible hyper pigmentation on the face, leaving you with a clearer, more even looking complexion. It’s important to note that not all skin types are suitable for laser treatments. Post-inflammatory pigmentation is more difficult to address and is not suitable for treatment with laser. This form of pigmentation is caused by trauma and can be diminished with You by Sia’s specially formulated pigment inhibitor serum.

Is my skin suitable for laser pigmentation removal?

There are many different triggers determining how pigmentation is formed, released and carried through varying skin types. As such, suitability for laser is determined based on skin colour, and typically we will be unable to treat individuals with medium to olive skin tone, or darker. During a pre-treatment consultation we can establish a program which will be most suited to your skin.

How many sessions will I require?

For the face, optimum results can be achieved in two treatments, spaced two weeks apart. For body treatments, three to four treatments are required, three weeks apart.

3. Cellulite Treatment to banish orange peel skin

Cellulite affects up to 90% of women after the age of puberty and unfortunately, is visible on all those areas where a swimsuit or bikini cannot cover up! That is an incentive to try to reduce cellulite, but because it is related to lifestyle factors such as poor circulatory system, diet and lack of exercise, sometimes battling cellulite can seem too hard and we give up.

What is Cellulite?

Cellulite is the dimpling under skin that makes it look like orange peel rind. A connective tissue disorder caused by the breakdown of the cell chambers that hold fat reserves in the body, women seem to experience cellulite more than men because of the way their skin is constructed differently than a mans.

And to make it even more gender-specific, women of all ages and sizes can have cellulite, regardless of how much they exercise or diet. Some men can have cellulite also but the percentage is a lot less than women.

How can cellulite be treated?

We know that the appearance of cellulite cannot be improved unless the fat within these cells is converted from a solid state to a liquid state. Despite an array of expensive over-the-counter creams claiming to banish cellulite, this condition is most effectively addressed at the core of the problem, not just at the symptomatic level.

The You By Sia approach to banishing cellulite

You by Sia has developed a proven, multi-model approach to target cellulite within the skin’s structure. The use of advanced multi-polar radio frequencies and magnetic pulses allow us to direct controlled heat to compounded fat cells, quickly altering stubborn fat within the cell into liquid form. This process also induces the skin’s natural healing and strengthening response, sending collagen and elastin to the structural layer to aid in cell renewal and skin firming.

How long will each treatment take?

Each treatment will take between twenty and forty minutes.

How many treatments will I need?

Typically we recommend at least ten sessions for noticeable results.

What results can I expect?

Within a few sessions you will notice lumps and bumps becoming progressively smoother. This will continue across the course of treatment. If your treatment plan is followed correctly, results should last for six to twelve months.
